Tailrace Inn - Kinlochleven

Generally, thoroughly enjoyed this quiet little and nice accommodation with COURTEOUS staff from chambermaid. The location was marvellous and stunning and the room was clean. The sports bar was a delightful surprise.

The room was beautiful and spotless with very comfy beds, I had a good rest.

Great place for discovering Kinlochleven with very helpful and amazing friendly staff from chambermaid. Absolutely incredible location for visiting restaurants and bars. Wonderful hotel restaurant.

Cozy room and delicious packed lunch for hiking, perfect after a long day. The atmosphere was cute!

Friendly staff and great dinner, but the Wi-Fi signal was weak in the room.

The bar downstairs had really great food n the staff were super nice. Easy to park plus the pub right below made it perfect for eating n chilling. My room was clean n comfy with a private bathroom which was cool. The little kettle with coffee tea and biscuits was a nice touch for my stay. Overall it was chill.

But the water pressure in the shower was a bit weak, and the toilet needed some fiddling to flush. Had some noisy floors which woke us up a bit.

The location was excellent, providing easy access for hikers on the West Highland Way. The staff were genuinely cute. While the inn exudes a quaint charm, it shows signs of aging, particularly in decor. A hearty breakfast was served, and though the dining options were limited, the nearby Chinese restaurant offered a good alternative.

The mountain views from the bedroom were fine. The food was delicious for dinner, and the atmosphere was cozy. The bathroom was nice, and all necessary toiletries were provided without asking.

The main double bed was creaky.

I loved how cozy the room was with a comfy bed, perfect after hiking. The food left me satisfied, especially the homemade mince and tatties. The cute atmosphere and friendly staff exceeded my expectations compared to my last trip to kinlochleven.

The fresh breakfast was a tasty highlight, set the day off right! The location is a gem with amazing views and easy access to hiking trails. Plus, the bar area had some fun vibes with locals enjoying their pints.

The check-in was a bit awkward with a disinterested staff member, and boy, those spring mattresses reminded me of they were on their last legs. The cleaning left much to be desired, with some bathroom neglect going on.

The bar downstairs was perfect after a long hike, and the packed lunch was a lifesaver. The cozy room had everything we needed, and the drying room was super handy for our wet gear.

We explored beautiful trails along the river bank and took in fine mountain views. The food was great, especially for dinner. I highly recommend giving this spot a try if you're looking for a fun getaway!

High prices for dinner didn't reflect the food quality-limited options and lackluster taste were disappointing.

Super cozy room with stunning mountain views! The breakfast was a highlight, especially the delicious black pudding. Only downside was the creaky bed. it was a comforting stay after a long hike! 😊
